It is FUN Friday!

F = Family I love and adore my family, the good/bad/AND ugly. Family is the thread that holds us together. The ties that bind, and all that. I love being able to watch the kids each day and think back to when I was that much of a sneak-ster, or how I loved to run all over the house. Wait, I still do that. Anyway..... I love my family and thank GOD each day for my blessings.

U = Unexpected This one is hard for me, because I don't see things as expected vs. unexpected. I take them as they come, no matter the direction they come from. I don't expect anything, and am appreciative and surprised by all the great things I get to experience each day. I've learned not to take anything for granted, even time. The time spent with Jake bending over watching ants marching by the crack in the sidewalk, or time with Jordan hearing about the dream she had the night before (well, some of THOSE things she tells me ARE unexpected... what an imagination she has!)

N = Nature I would have to coin Jordan as the biggest Nature lover I've ever known. I can appreciate the beauty of the sights and sounds of it all, but she really feels a connection to Nature that so many people don't stop to appreciate. I love to watch her walk through the yard, with her head down and eyes on what she can find. She is showing and teaching her brother about nature all the time. I hope that she never loses that connection with Nature and that I get to see her enjoy finding and discovering it for many many many years.
