Design Team Call for The School... Now Open!

The School of Scrap is growing faster than our current faculty can keep up with and we need help!

We are currently searching for 3-4 new faculty members (known also as Design Team members) to join our creative team for a term of six months.

Could you be who we are looking for?

Our faculty is the heart of our site, creating a sense of community and providing inspiration to our members.

We are looking for 3-4 creative, team-oriented and above all FUN people to join us in this endeavor.
As a faculty member, you will have your own themed classroom and freedom (within guidelines) to choose challenges to post within that classroom.

What do you get?

• Free products from our generous sponsors, on a rotating basis, to work with for your Design Team sponsor submissions
• More fun than a person should be allowed to have!

What do you do?

Our faculty requirements are as follows:
• Commit to posting regular challenges (at least once per month) in your classroom; being an active participant in student conversation within your classroom; keep accurate records of students completing challenges, as they may be eligible to receive a RAK periodically!
• Be an active member in our forum outside of your own classroom.
• Submit layouts and/or projects on a deadline with the materials provided by our sponsors on a rotating basis. • Submit projects to your personal gallery.
• Participate in other School of Scrap online events as needed (generally no more than quarterly,) such as cyber-crops, contest judging, etc.
• Promote The School of Scrap among other scrapbookers, within guidelines of the board/group/etc. you are on.
• Be at least eighteen years of age and a resident of the United States. (We are sorry, but at this time cost of shipping to international scrappers is prohibitive.)

How do you apply?

• Share with us three of your favorite projects. No requirement as to whether they are layouts, altered projects, mini-album…we want to see it all! Note, too, that I said “favorite,” not “best.” We want to see what of your work you just love, what makes you happy, the stuff you are eager to do more of. We love a happy staff!
• Also include a brief bio including how long you’ve been scrapping, your favorite techniques, lines, and/or subjects…anything you’d like us to know.
• If you wish, you can also send us a link to any online galleries you have that you would like us to visit to get a better idea of your work.
• Let us know the best way to reach you.
• Send all of the above to lisa@theschoolofscrap.com in jpeg format, in a minimum of 300x300 size.
