Literature Class with Vanessa

JULY LITERATURE ASSIGNMENT

Hello Students, I am so happy to be your Guest Teacher for the month.

I hope you will enjoy the assignment and reflect on our great country and all the people through out time who helped fight for our freedoms, and shape our nation. I would love for you to create a layout celebrating our wonderful America. (Now in the event we have ladies from other countries, I want you to do the same and use the colors of your country.)

Now here are the “rules”: You must use Red White and Blue (for America).

You must use PP and CS.
You must use ONE thing that symbolizes where YOU are in our nation.
And it must include a quote or poem based on Freedom, Liberty, or the History of America. (Again, if you are outside the US, please follow the same guidelines but with what applies to your country.)

Here are a few quotes to give you some inspirations.

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom; justice; honor; duty; mercy; hope. Sir Winston Churchill

In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility -- I welcome it. John F. Kennedy

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it. Thomas Paine

This layout will be worth 250 points. Also be watching, because there WILL BE some extra credit assignments.
